This summer, check out Tequila Tuesdays at Evarito’s in Norwalk.  Get $6 Evarito’s El Jimador margaritas, half price carafes, and other half price tequilas at the bar all night long, and enjoy their gorgeous roof top!

To celebrate Litchfield’s 300 year anniversary, Arethusa Farm and the Lichfield Historical Society invite you to the Tapping Reeve Meadow to meet some of Arethusa’s award-winning cows. On August 11, learn about the history of the farm, sample ice cream and cheese, and play games.  $5 per person or $20 per family. 

The Stamford Museum & Nature Center hosts a Berry Bonanza on Sunday August 11.  Harvest berries from the garde, learn how to identify wild raspberries versus invasive wineberries, and create no-bake raspberry sauce to take home. 

On August 7, Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill will be donating 10% of all food sales to New Haven Reads.

Healing meets Happy Hour at the Roger Sherman Inn on August 7. Try out acupuncture while enjoying drinks and bites.

On Thursday August 8, Geoff Lazlo presents a Farm to Table Dinner at The Hickories Farm.  Dinners will start at 6pm with a cocktail hour featuring a signature cocktail infused with herbs from the farm and passed hors d’oeuvres. A three course dinner will be served family style while guests dine al fresco.  Don’t forget to BYOB. 

National Oyster Day is Monday August 5.  At Michael Jordan’s Steak House in Connecticut Culinary Director Diego Burgos will serve his oysters (each $3) with a granita trio- blood orange, cucumber, and champagne- along with dill lavosh and fermented horseradish. A special Oysters Rockefeller will also be available

Chef Billy Grant and his Chefs Corey Cannon of Bricco Trattoria, and Jon Gyles of Bricco West Hartford invite you to join them for their Summer 2019 Farm Dinner series at Rose’s Berry Farm, in South Glastonbury. Every Farm dinner features a creative menu with ingredients sourced from a multitude of CT farms, and includes passed and stationed hors d’ oeuvres, multi-course dinner, dessert, creative cocktails, craft beers, and vino.  The next one takes place on August 9.  www.billygrant.com 

The Max Chef to Farm series continues on August 9 with “BBQ, Bluegrass, and Brews.”  On Beginning at 6:30pm, explore hyper-local craft beer and dine on BBQ prepared on the farm by Max Restaurant Group's Culinary Director, Chef Hunter Morton. Listen to songs by American Folk & Bluegrass singer, songwriter, recording artist and CT native Phil Rosenthal.  Total ticket price is $109, inclusive. 

On Saturday August 10, the Oyster Club and Stone Acres Farm are teaming up for a Taco Fiesta.  From 6-8pm, partake in tacos, cervezas, margaritas, and live music.  A $40 ticket, plus tax and gratuity, includes food.  Craft cocktails, beer and wine will be available a la carte. 

Birdman in Bridgeport now serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday!  Stop in for some of their signature biscuits, birds, bowls, and more.

Chef Zach Shuman of Union Kitchen has released his new summer menu with brighter flavors and lighter fare.  Union Kitchen also has a new brunch menu and a new happy hour menu. Brunch hours are Saturday and Sunday 11AM-3PM.  Happy Hours are every day from 3PM-6PM.

Carbone’s Prime, located just off I-91 in Rocky Hill, has launched a new wine promo for guests on Sunday and Monday.  All bottles $59 and under are ½ price Sundays from 2:30pm-close and Mondays from 3:30pm-close.  Bottles $60+ are offered at 25% off.

Forza Ristorante in Bridgeport has a new happy hour food menu.  Try it out at the bar Tuesday to Friday from 4 to 6:30pm.
