Connecticut Brewers Release All Together IPA For Coronavirus Relief Fundraiser
The coronavirus pandemic's outsize effect on the restaurant, bar, and brewing industries has been apparent and catastrophic, but hope greets us in the knowledge that even as we all stay at home, we're finding new ways to stand together in support of the people who need us. The American craft brewing industry's will to work with one another is famous, and All Together - a collaboration spearheaded by Other Half Brewing in Brooklyn - is a way consumers and brewers alike can join up to support service industry, breweries, and healthcare workers. Fifteen Connecticut breweries have already joined up to produce an All Together beer.
The owners of Other Half share the message, recipes, and label designs on the All Together website:
"All Together is a worldwide, open-ended beer collaboration created to raise support for the industry we love so much. It's an effort to raise awareness and provide relief, even in the smallest way, to those who are struggling. We're inviting any brewer, from any corner of the planet to participate. The recipe is open source, the artwork is public, and the name is yours to use. The goal is to provide you with the tools to make the beer at the lowest possible cost."
The project asks anyone to use the hashtag #AllTogetherBeer on social media to spread the message, and the beers themselves will all be riffs on either a west coast or a hazy IPA theme. The free recipe is available for both homebrewers and commercial operations. Over 600 breweries in 41 U.S. states and 40 other countries are already participating at the time of this writing, and below is a list of Connecticut breweries making an All Together IPA with the information we've been able to gather about styles and release dates. Keep checking the brewery websites and social media to get the latest on release, and feel free to add additional info in the comments below:
