Similar to a traditional CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) the Food HUB is now providing restaurants with locally-sourced, nutrient-dense food options from over 30 farms in CT’s northwest region, including honey, maple syrup, eggs and produce. Restaurants can contribute to the boxes uniquely with items that are a specialty to that restaurant. Customers can sign-up with the restaurants to pick-up their share. Prices vary per location and add-ons. Current participating restaurants include Fife ‘n Drum Restaurant (Kent, CT), Saltwater Grille (Litchfield, CT), The Village Restaurant (Litchfield, CT), Fork & Fire (Farmington, CT), Present Company (Tariffville, CT), and Union League (New Haven, CT). Online the Hub can be found at www.nwctfoodhub.org. On Instagram and Facebook at @NWCTfoodhub.Barcade is back open in New Haven!
