@CTBeer is teaming up with @StewardsOfTheLand@MikroDepot and @EmilysCateringGroupCT on September 17th for CT's 1st ever Farm To Glass & Table Beer Dinner. Each dish will be expertly paired using 100% fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from CT Farms to complement one of Steward's five small-batch brews. Chowdafest is proud to announce their new Chowda Club designed to bring the Chowdafest experience to the safety of your own home AND all year round! Similar in concept to a ‘chowder-of-the-month-club’, two different quarts of chowders will be offered each month starting with the first delivery in the beginning of October which is the time Chowdafest is traditionally held. The club will feature chowders, soups or bisque from two restaurants every month.  A total of 24 restaurants from all over New England has been been invited to participate.

Beloved Brooklyn Chef Missy Robbins of Lilia and Misi has launched an old-school Italian specialties store/delivery service, MP Specialties. This new store is her way of bringing that nostalgia to you, and lucky for us she is delivering to CT. Hartford Restaurant Group’s Wood-n-Tap and Que Whiskey Kitchen restaurants are celebrating the arrival of a new season and National Bourbon Month in September! From Sept. 1 to Sept. 30, all Wood-n-Tap locations will offer $6 Tappy Old Fashioneds, while Que whisky Kitchen will offer its Que Old-Fashioned  for $6, too. Wood-n-Tap is also offering its Tappy Old Fashioned Booze-n-Out kits for $59 through Sept. 30. Usually retailing for $65, the do-it-yourself kit includes all you need to make the cocktails, including simple syrup, Amarena cherries, an orange, bitters and a bottle of Elijah Craig Single Barrel bourbon. Kits serve 12 and can be picked up at any Wood-n-Tap restaurant or ordered online at woodntap.com/menus/booze-n-out-kits.

Good Morning Cupcake has just opened in Milford specializing in mini cupcakes and other mini confections. We offer 14 different flavors per month which include one gluten free option and one vegan. The menu changes monthly to keep the taste buds alive. Every month they do specials i.e Harry Potter theme day (sold out in less than two hours) On Saturday, September 26th. Superhero Princess day will feature the bake shop decorated, staff in costume, raffle prizes eligible to anyone in costume and the bakery case filled with sweet treats based around superheroes and princesses.
