On Feb 13th, Chef Ray Gennaro of Consiglio’s Restaurant in New Haven is hosting a virtual cooking class. Bring a little Little Italy to your home. Cook in real time along with Chef Ray Gennaro via Zoom as he prepares a delicious Italian meal. Ticket price includes all of the ingredients for each course and will be available either for pick up at Consiglio’s Restaurant or home delivery to the New Haven area. Hartford Restaurant Group’s (HRG) Wood-n-Tap Restaurants and Que Kitchen are serving lunch and more at Hartford’s The Open Hearth on Feb. 4, “National Homemade Soup Day.” HRG will prepare its homemade soup and sandwiches for about 100 clients at the well-known non-profit which provides programs, food, shelter and opportunity for men experiencing homelessness. 

The Shubert Theatre is hosting the fifth installment of its signature fundraiser, “Next Stop: New Haven” on Thursday, February 11 at 8:30pm (snowdate:  Friday, February 12 at 8:30pm). This special “Late Nite” edition invites adults to enjoy a night out – while staying in – with a virtual program featuring an all-new stand-up comedy show from CT comedian, radio host, author and TV personality Vinnie Penn, musical entertainment from Broadway rising stars, cocktail demonstrations from Ordinary and other surprises!
