A Week-Long Cinco de Mayo Fiesta comes to Mohegan Sun May 2nd – May 7th. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Six fun-filled days at seven different locations with tequila, tacos, nachos, and sombreros kicks off on Monday, May 2nd and lasting through Saturday, May 7th. Whether you prefer your margarita frozen or on the rocks, Mohegan Sun will have a place for you to enjoy the celebration.

bartaco kicks off Cinco de Mayo with its latest #bartacosecret taco in partnership with Yellowbird Foods! From May 5th to June 14th, guests can come in to experience bartaco’s first-ever co-crafted taco, the coconut shrimp taco, topped off with a Yellowbird Sriracha, made with seared lemongrass-coconut marinated shrimp on top of a fresh + crisp green papaya salad, finished with a drizzle of spicy, garlicky + sweet Yellowbird Blue Agave Sriracha.

Simsbury’s First “Drag Brunch” to be Held June 12th-PROCEEDS BENEFIT STATEWIDE NONPROFIT FOR ADDICTION AWARENESS AND RECOVERY- Simsbury’s Roux Cajun Eatery will be the place to be for fun and frolicking on Sunday, June 12 as The Imperial Sovereign Court of Connecticut proudly presents a “Drag Brunch on the Bayou” from 11 A.M.  to 1 P.M. at 10 Wilcox Street, in Simsbury, and is home to the area’s only Louisiana-style cooking. The New Canaan Food Revolution returns on Saturday, May 14th running 9.30–11:30am with proceeds going to FILLING IN THE BLANKS, who help fight childhood hunger. The family-friendly ‘Food Trail’ was originally created to encourage kids to sample small bites and feel confident trying different foods. Today it’s enjoyed by the entire community and new for 2022 is the added fun of a downtown scavenger hunt. Wakeman Town Farm’s Old-Time Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is June 18th. Come on down to the Farm for an old-fashioned pancake breakfast, and bring the kids! We’ll be serving up flapjacks + sausages with all the fixin’s, plus coffee and OJ. As a bonus: If the weather cooperates, you’re invited to take a walk around the Farm and say hi to our friendly alpacas, sheep, and goats.
