Shell and Bones Oyster Bar & Grill, New Haven

You can’t go wrong with the the raw bar here! With a variety of oysters to choose from, we decided to do a little variety as a starter followed by another delicious choice of proteins for dinner, the Bouillabaisse, and Planko Crab Cake. You can enjoy the trendy vibe indoors or dine seaside by the marina. Our cocktail recommendation here is: “Johnnie the Fox”

Marker 37, Chester

This restaurant is great to enjoy with family or your partner, with a slightly casual dinner and kids menu. Its casual trendy vibe, including live music some nights = a great evening. Enjoy a Warm Lobster Roll or some Healthy fish tacos and a bartender that can make anything you desire. They work their magic!

The Wharf, Madison

Whether you decide to dine at the bar or outside facing the beautiful beach views, you should not miss their Oysters Rockefeller followed by some land, Char-Grilled Prime Striploin. With tons of locally grown produce, the menu offers a variety of tasty options.  Start your night with Harbor Light’s Mediterranean Grilled Octopus tossed in peppers and oil marinated in lemon. Follow this up with Crab Stuffed Shrimp and a side of asparagus. Sitting on the deck on a evening night surrounded by lights and a beautiful seaview, we assure you, your loved one will be impressed….and healthy! 

L’Escale, Greenwich

If are looking not only for a seaside view but also a seaside view with Yachts, L’Escale is your spot, situated in a stunning marina. Enjoy your special night with seafood on ice-the “ Plateau Degustation” lobster, clams, oysters and shrimp. Follow this up with their “ Jumbo Stonington Seared Scallops”.  With so many delicious options of cocktails, we enjoyed the “key largo” cocktail! This is one night you will enjoy from beginning to end.

Prime - An American Kitchen & Bar, Stamford

With a beautiful sea ambience and trendy New York stylish style vibe, this marina-side dining spot is not to be missed. With tons of great menu options, we do recommend their excellent sushi ,which makes a great appetizer, as well as a sometimes hard to find “Branzino.” We love chef’s preparation on this dish. Enjoy a few cocktails at the beautiful marble bar with Loriann’s favorite choice “ Key to my Heart” (Strawberries, cucumber ,grapefruit, gin).

Red 36, Mystic

If you want to enjoy a night in the historical town Mystic stop by Red 36! This airy waterfront restaurant at the seaport marina has one of the nicest stunning views of the mystic river!  When we took a look at the menu we wanted almost all of it! So we had to narrow ourselves down of course , and decided to start off with the Crab Cake and Grilled Mexican Corn as a Appetizer, and how can we not order the Seafood paella and Lobster Dinner! So Delicioso!! We then viewed their cocktail menu, another found another rare and our favorite cocktail on this menu , which is the the “caipirinha”!Another MUST HAVE! Your night will not just end here at Red 36. Take a nice romantic walk around mystic , and visit some of mystic’s many little boutiques and ice cream shops.

Waters Edge Resort & Spa, Westbrook 

With its gorgeous Seaview Bistro and Sunsets whether you go for breakfast or dinner this is a win win!

We both enjoy to go here on Sunday late morning for a wide fine selection of fresh foods on Dattilo’s Sunday Brunch menu! You will find shrimp on the rocks with a beautiful heart ice sculpture along with many fruit, cheeses, main entrees, desserts and a chef tossing on the stove top fresh pasta and freshly cut beef! 

You have a choice of sitting indoors or outdoors with a waterfront view! Such a lovely spot to go with your partner and maybe take a romantic walk on the beach.
