Washington Prime’s Georgetown location has announced a Tuesday night dinner special.  The prime rib roast 2-course dinner includes your choice of salad, a 16 oz. prime rib, and a side of mashed potatoes.

On Wednesday March 29, AMG Catering will offer a “Spring Chicken Class.”  Learn to prepare healthy and exciting chicken dishes using seasonal spring ingredients.  It costs $90 per person and goes from 7-9pm.

New Haven’s Shell & Bones Oyster Bar has an all new brunch cocktail menu.  Four new cocktails will be offered alongside their “Breakfast Bloody Mary.”  There will also be three non-alcoholic drinks.  Join them for brunch Friday-Sunday after 11am. 

It is possible to have a BBQ in the cold weather!  Aux Delices will teach adults all of the techniques needed to pull off a “Winter Barbecue” in their cooking class on Wednesday March 29 from 7-9:30pm. 

Italian-Inspired Ready-to-Go Options are now available at Balducci’s in the month of March.  Prosciutto and Fig Ficelle, Mediterranean Salmon Salad, Grilled Asparagus with Orange Zest, Meatballs in Marinara, Balducci’s Tiramisu, and Balducci’s Cannoli are now ready for pick up so people can enjoy an Italian meal at home.

SEED is an award winning documentary about the loss of seed diversity and the future of our food supply.  Catch it at New Haven Bow Tie Cinemas on Wednesday March 29 from 7:30-10pm. 

Sugar & Olives in Norwalk will host a cooking class on Wednesday March 29 from 7-9pm.  “Hors d’oeuvres in a pinch, it’s a cinch” will offer tips on how to make bite-sized foods. 

The 9th Annual Pacific House Dessert and Chocolate Lovers Tasting takes place in Greenwich on March 31.   The event, which supports the Pacific House Young Adult Program, features desserts from artisan bakeries, chocolatiers, and patisseries as well as musical performances by students.  It lasts from 7-10pm and tickets start at $50. 

Get a tour of New England’s best in a new 13 episode travel and lifestyle series called “Weekends with Yankee.”  It will begin airing on public television in April.  Check your local listings. 

Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes in Watertown, CT presents a Vegan Baking Night on Friday March 31.  From 7-9pm, they will teach you to create their famous vegan cupcakes and let you snack on some of theirs.  It costs $30 per person.

Kindred Spirits & Wine and GoodWorks Entertainment Present, Flavour, a New England craft beer tasting event, on Saturday, April 1 from 12 pm to 4 pm.  Flavour will take place at The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company and feature breweries from the Northeast like Back East, Beer'd, Black Hog, Kent Falls, Lawson's, and more.  Each ticket includes a beer tasting glass for unlimited beer samples and live music.  It runs from 12-4pm.

Aspetuck Brew Lab in Bridgeport is pleased to release their first bottled beer.  Witness the debut on Saturday April 1 starting at 11am. 100 cases of Empirical Evidence Imperial IPA will be available in 22oz bomber bottles.

New Haven Restaurant Week begins on Sunday April 2!  Participating restaurants include 116 Crown, Miya’s, Roia, and more. 

Mikro’s 3rd Annual Greenhouse Beer Festival will take place on April 2 from 1-4pm.  It’s a chance to taste craft brews and enjoy food from NoRa Cupcake Company, the Caseus Cheese Truck, Chief Brodys Banh Mi Truck and Mercado Food Truck.  Tickets cost $60, with proceeds going to Smilow Cancer Hospital "Closer to Free Ride" and The Guanin Water Purification Project. 

The Common Bond Market in Shelton has declared Sunday April 2 Cupcake Day.  Their vegan and gluten-free cupcakes will be 50% off, while supplies last.  In addition, their head baker will be sampling 6 kinds of cupcakes from 11am-2pm. 

Ordinary in New Haven hosts a Cocktail Ingredient Class on Sunday April 2.  They will show you how to use fruit, flowers, and herbs in cocktails (and mocktails!)  Snacks will be paired with the creations.  Tickets are $45. 

Darien Social is closing.  Bid them farewell on Sunday April 2 starting at 5pm with $5 mixed drinks, mixed drinks, and wine by the glass.  It’s their final day!

Tickets are on sale for Food for All 2017: An Evening to End Hunger presented by Whole Foods Market.  Participants can try more than 15 tasting plates from Fairfield County chefs as well as beer, wine, and craft cocktails.  The event takes place on April 26 and tickets are $100.
