MIKU is teaming up with Tony's at the J House to launch a pop-up sushi bar in late July. Signature items like the Good 4 You Roll and Yellowtail Jalapeno from the MIKU menu will be available along with all-new options exclusively developed for the partnership at Tony's - including fresh fish from the world-famous Tokyo fish market. The DORO Restaurant Group is about two months away from launching its next venture, DORO Marketplace, in West Hartford. It’s a fast-casual concept: part grocery store, coffeehouse and bakery, with counter service and grab-and-go meals. Scott Miller, DORO’s chief operating officer, said the Marketplace, at 1253 New Britain Ave., should be open by September.

Chowdafest is continuing their “clambakes to go.” These clambakes can only be ordered online at www.ClambakeToGo.com through Thursday July 23rd. Each meal also includes a complimentary two-pack of summer ale from Sam Adams and The Blind Rhino restaurant. comes in a pot that the customer keeps.  Each meal includes a meaty 1.5 lb lobster, clams, mussels, sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob.  They're convenient and simple to cook as you just add water, beer or wine to the pot, then steam it between 20 and 40 minutes depending on how many meals you have.

With summer here, Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill has launched a new cocktail menu, available at both its Fairfield and New Haven locations (which are both open for indoor and outdoor dining, as well as takeout).
